In the first quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on the iOS platform in the Middle East demonstrated varying performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these trends provide a snapshot of user engagement and financial success in the region.

YouTube from Google showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $1.7M in the last week of February. Weekly downloads reached a high of approximately 140K in early February, while active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 17.6M throughout the quarter.

Snapchat by Snap, Inc. experienced a revenue peak of roughly $1.4M in late February. Downloads saw a notable increase towards the end of March, reaching nearly 59K. Active users showed a gradual rise, ending the quarter at approximately 17.6M.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw a significant revenue increase, peaking at around $290K in late March. Downloads rose steadily, reaching approximately 117K at the end of the quarter. Active users also increased, ending March at about 4.4M.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor, published by Canva, saw a revenue peak of approximately $258K in late February. Download numbers were steady, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, while active users fluctuated but remained around 1M.

Finally, FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor by FaceApp Technology Limited experienced a revenue peak of about $197K in late February. Downloads spiked significantly in the last week of March to around 18K, with active users showing a slight increase to about 106K by the end of the quarter.
